Docker Hub HACKED: 190,000 users affected

Docker Hub is a repository of Docker images and if you are using Docker, chances are you are using images from Docker Hub. This data breach affected an estimated 190,000 users and the following data was taken:

  • Usernames
  • Hashed passwords (these are useful for rainbow table password cracking)
  • GitHub access tokens (used to access a user’s data from GitHub)
  • BitBucket access tokens (used to access a user’s data from BitBucket)
