OpenCollective releases new GitHub bot

OpenCollective is a non-profit group that makes it easy for free/open source software projects to seek sponsorship and funding. It makes it easier for them to fundraise. With the release of OpenCollective’s new GitHub bot, they are making it even easier for projects hosted on GitHub to promote their OpenCollective fundraising efforts.

By creating this bot, OpenCollective paints a very clear picture that open source development work requires funding.

After this, the OpenCollective Bot will comment whenever new issues are opened with specific labels. This makes it possible to ask for donations as soon as new issues are created.
